Actor/Movie Star Bill Pullman visits OKC Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club

Actor Bill Pullman, star of such films as Independence Day & Space Balls, visits with youth at The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, along with Major Francina Proctor

The children at The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma Area Command’s Boys & Girls Club got a special treat in August when actor Bill Pullman stopped by for a surprise visit.

Pullman, along with other movie stars, are in Oklahoma City filming the movie “Bringing Up Bobby.”
After meeting one of the Boys & Girls Club employees at a private gathering, Pullman offered to stop by and talk with the Club kids.
Pullman spoke about how he became an actor, why he loves Oklahoma City and adventures he had during his career, including watching himself play The President in “Independence Day” while sitting with former President Bill Clinton.
Big thanks to Mr. Pullman! He was incredibly nice and patient, and everyone enjoyed his visit!
