Sign Up Now for Red Hot Kettle Run 2K Fun Walk, 5K & 10K Run on Aug. 27 in Regatta Park

The 1st Annual Red Hot Kettle Run, to benefit The Salvation Army Social Services and Boys & Girls Club, will be held on Aug. 27 at Regatta Park, 725 South Lincoln Boulevard in Oklahoma City.

The event includes a 2K fun walk, a 5K and a 10K race, and runners are encouraged to sign up now for preregistration specials by clicking

Race day registration will be under the pavilion in the park.

2K Fun Run/Walk and Stroller Parade
All registrants will receive t-shirts and awards will be give for the best decorated stroller or costume (for riders 5 and under) 12 and under entrants will receive a participation medal along with their t-shirt. All proceeds will be going to Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and Social Services.
Cost to enter is $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 2K. Special edition training shirts are also available for $20, but cotton T-shirts are free with registration.
All proceeds go to benefit The Salvation Army’s Social Services office, which provides more than 36,000 food pantry orders per year, as well as assistance with utilities and back-to-school needs.
In addition, proceeds will also benefit The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, which provides school help, sports, crafts, leadership training, arts, tutoring and health and fitness for at-risk children in Oklahoma City.
